I have over 25 years of investment and capital market experience. I have invested in private and public companies both actively and passively and have done so on a global basis. Most recently, I have been the head of capital markets and investor relations for The Greenrose Holding Company Inc. (OTCQX: GNRS), a cannabis company that I co-founded as a SPAC called Greenrose Acquisition Corp. The SPAC’s purpose was to acquire one or more leaf touching cannabis companies on the U.S. As such I performed extensive research on the industry resulting in closing on our qualifying transaction in November 2021. Prior to Greenrose, I was a Portfolio Manager at Narmo Capital Management, a Saudi Family Office based out of Bahrain. At Narmo, I was responsible for the concept, formation and launch of a global event driven fund which I managed from June 2016 to October 2018.Prior to Narmo Mr. Harley was Founder, Principal, and Portfolio Manager of Unqua Capital Management (and its predecessor company Bannon Alternative Strategies) in New York from June 2010 to June 2016. During this time, I partnered with Liquid Holdings and managed a global event driven fund on the Liquid platform. In 1999 I joined his brother, Mickey Harley in the formation and founding of HBV Alternative Strategies and its successor companies, Mellon HBV Alternative Strategies and Fursa Alternative Strategies. At HBV I helped grow assets from $5 million to a peak of over $1.3 billion from 1999 to 2007. I opened the firm’s London office and managed the international (non-US) portfolio, managed the European team, developed the European operation and developed relationships with service providers. HBV invested in equities, equity options, debt, both private and public, derivatives, futures, and trade claims and has done so across the North America, Western and Eastern Europe, Africa and Asia.
