Project: Modera River House is a new apartment complex consisting of (4) buildings. A (233) Unit 8-story building with an elevated pool deck and multiple amenities, a (30) unit 5-story building, a (29) Unit 5-story building, and historical single family home remodel. The project has a total construction budget of $55,143,571.• Set up and track budget as it pertains to project cost projection from field changes, plan deficiencies, and building finish upgrades.• Prepare monthly project status reports, project cost forecast of potential and current issues for review with construction and development departments and JV partners and lenders.• Manage the communication with project design team, field and office personnel, subcontractors, vendors and governmental agencies overseeing the project to ensure the finished product meets all design specifications.• Manage all documents and construction logs including review of submittals, preparation of RFI’s, preparation of meeting minutes, and overseeing closeout documents and materials.• Ensure that all paperwork is in order and that the municipality has all required documentation, including leading permit tracking, for each project to receive the Certificate of Occupancy.• Organized all parts of conveyance of the project to the Property Management team, including training on building systems.

Project: Miramar Town Center new apartment complex consisting of (1) 5-Story (236) unit apartment building with 9700 sq ft of amenity spaces, 12,100 sq ft of future retail, pool, courtyard and main Leasing Office wrapping a new (393) space 5-story parking garage; (1) 5-Story (117) unit apartment building with 2100 sq ft of amenity space partially wrapping an existing parking garage; (26) townhouse buildings totaling (134) units and (1) standalone clubhouse with pool and 3100 sq ft amenity space, and Tot-Lot | 701,186 SF Total | $56,557,339 Total construction budget• Manage all construction logs and documents including review of submittals, preparation of RFI’s, preparation of meeting minutes, and overseeing closeout documents and materials.• Work closely with project consultants including architects, engineers and interior designers to ensure the finished product meets all design specifications.• Work with Property Management team to make sure the final product was consistent with the Owner’s expectations. • Organized all parts of conveyance of the project to the Property Management team, including training on the various systems that require maintenance.• Took on all the roles of an Assistant Project Manager in September 2014 when the Project Manager left the project.

Work in the building structures department of a multi-discipline engineering firm where we utilize the newest technologies to help design buildings as efficiently as possible. -Assist in the structural design for different building structures using a variety of materials including concrete, masonry, steel, and aluminum.-Use Revit 2013 to create construction documents and help interdisciplinary coordination of projects so there are fewer headaches for the contractor and owner. -Conduct engineering investigations of at-risk structures to determine the cause of aesthetic or structural problems. Create report to provide clients with present problems and possible solutions.- Preformed field inspections during construction phases of projects. - Incharge of the design of miscellaneous civil engineering structures including privacy walls, retaining walls, signs, and different types of light posts.

This is a joint research project between Florida Atlantic University and Florida International University on the post-tensioning applications of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymers in segmental box girder bridges. Some of the tasks I have been entrusted with include:-Comprehensive literature review to gather information to better carry out experiments-Constructing portions of the specimens that will be tested.-Developing test matrices and scheduling for testing so the project will stay on time

-Worked in the Engineering department drafting different structures in Revit from parking garage foundations to school buildings-Structural design of small structural elements using ASCE 7-10, AISC, and ACI codes-Exposed to Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes-Developed civil and structural engineering drawings through Revit and AutoCAD-Went on site visits for quality control and specialty inspections

-Assist in observing the drilling of a replacement monitoring well at a water/wastewater treatment plant-Represent the engineering firm and relay information to the drilling company-Responsible for gathering and recording data during a variety of geophysical surveys

This research project was to develop a mitigation plan for Florida Atlantic University and all it's satellite campuses. I was entrusted with the following tasks:-Write the final report for the Mitigation Plan-Efficiently obtain data for Prioritized Project Lists from 3 Florida counties and FEMA to develop report appendices -Organize the agendas and take meeting minutes at bi-weekly update meetings where the structural integrity of the buildings was discussed-Contacted satellite campuses to schedule visits and receive permission for access to building plans and to photograph buildings
