• Working in the initial phases and first production release of a large project for Ford.• Leading an international team of 14 developers, QA testers and project managers in the UK, Poland and US, following the Scaled Agile Framework for software delivery.• Interacting with Ford Business team in North America and Europe with regular trips to both offices.• Daily stand-ups and teleconferences for requirements gathering, updates on progression and demonstrations of the software-in-development.• Designing foundations of the software, defining units of work, estimation of effort and planning resources.• Working with closely with validation testers at Ford and partner companies to triage and diagnose issues. • Starting role as a Java developer working on Ford projects delivering new features for an online technical documentation system.• Implementing new features and maintaining an offline diagnostic and repair application.• Consulting Ford business and IT to deliver enhancements to existing features or implement new products to comply with legislation.• Worked with JCB to implement the first release of Cognitran's Blaise IDE, a new product for the authoring and translation of new content for JCB's technical documentation.

• Main role as a tester on a large project for a client in the finance sector.• Facilitated the triage of issues and supported the release manager.• The project team was multi-national, with colleagues from the UK and India working together. This required daily teleconference calls, and a weekly video conference.• Worked on client site for 3 months, which allowed me to clarify any issues with the specification in conversations with the client.• Wrote various test scripts to document the progress of testing and for auditing purposes.• Recorded training and demonstration videos of the project for the client’s use.• Edited and published a weekly and monthly electronic newsletter for the whole practice, and another bi-weekly newsletter for the Indian offices.• Facilitated training sessions offering technical help with a simulation.• Edited and maintained a Microsoft SharePoint site, and set up automated data synchronisation between Microsoft SharePoint and Excel using Excel VBA.
