I worked as a bartender in a 200+ person capacity theatre. I made cocktails, poured wine and beer. Took customers orders, handled cash and EFTPOS payments at the bar. Recorded all stock of alcohol and reported to the Bar Manager.With help from the head bartender, we would set up and tear down the bar at the end of each weekend. This included, filling/emptying ice wells, deep clean of all bar areas, mopping the bar areas, removing all empty bottles used throughout the weekend.

Supervised a team of 12 staff within the store. Giving daily jobs lists to closing staff members in order to stay on top of the various seasonal changes the store was going through.Worked closely with the Store and General Manager to complete important tasks quickly.Personally handled remerchandising of seasonal areas from summer camping goods to Christmas. Including, following Planograms, creation of new aisles in the store, setting up all shelves with brackets, printing labels and assigned homes in the aisles. This had to be completed within a space of 8 weeks (mid-September to mid-November).Helped all customers with any questions, including, finding items in the store, looking for special items in the warehouse, guiding customers to correct areas of store (Hardware, Auto Parts, Housewares), contacting relevant staff members to help those customers, if no one was available ensuring that customers received as much help as possible before the next staff member came.Managing stock levels of various items in the department to ensure there was space for newly arriving stock.

I worked as a housekeeper at a 4.5 star resort in the Rockies of British Columbia. The position involved cleaning various apartments to an immaculate level throughout the resort. Cleaning bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and shared living areas in apartments. Stocking housekeeping carts at the end of shift to ensure that crew could quickly start work the next day.

I worked at a team leader in the Housekeeping department. I managed a small group of co-workers to ensure that rooms throughout the company were cleaned. The company managed properties that varied from 6 buildings of hotel style rooms and multiple resort apartments and homes throughout the Fernie area. I was in charge of keeping in contact with the front desk department so they knew when rooms were clean for guests to check in. I often was the driver for the cars to and from the resort homes. As well as liaising with the maintenance department for any fixes that the rooms needed.

As a order picker, I worked in a large team environment in order to pick the orders for a night that would service the Vancouver area with fresh food and restaurant quality products. I used a RF style scanner to pick orders for several different restaurants, that would be built on three pallets. To get around the warehouse quickly, we were taught how to drive an electric ride-on pallet jack. There were many safety rules that had to be followed while riding on the pallet jacks as there were often multiple co-workers driving around the warehouse. Following these safety precautions were a must, and we were all taught how to follow them closely. As well as learning how to do proper lifting techniques in order to avoid damage to the body.In the warehouse, I worked throughout the dry side, cooler and freezer. Throughout the warehouse sections there were many different build patterns that were learned in order to stabilize the pallets as much as possible.

Had many different roles throughout the day, working in a regional hotel, 2 hours northeast of Perth. Roles included, housekeeping, bartending, kitchen helper, dishwasher, bottle shop attendant.Every morning would include housekeeping, keeping track and cleaning of 10 motel units, and 22 hotel rooms. Would either, clean or tidy up room if the customer was still with us for another night.As a bartender, I took food orders and poured beers and wine for various customers throughout the day.In the kitchen, I would make pizzas, or help the head chef with plating and preparing sides for each of the dishes, as well as running the food out when it was ready to be served. After dinner service was over, I would wash all the dishes.As a bottle shop attendant, I was in control of maintaining the stock levels of all alcohols in the bottle shop. This included receiving the weekly liquor order, and checking that we received everything that we had ordered. I then would restock the bottle shop with anything that was needed, and restocked the bar of all relevant items.
