I worked with the guys at Gfinity and Codemasters, describing the game behaviour (F1 2017) and editing the gameplay footage for the first F1Esports event, for the production team. This includes calling out potential race changing moments, overtakes, crashes, victory laps, fastest laps and results for the Final Editor to capture. Including working with Formula 1 for rules, requirements of entry, ensuring the races were streamed, gaining social media attention and marketing the whole league championship series. Which sent 5 drivers from each platform (PlayStation, Xbox and PC) to the F1Esports Semi Final, hosted in Gfinity's arena in London.I was then asked to help edit and direct the gameplay footage in the Semi Final, in London. Working with the production company at Gfinity and the F1 2017 team from Codemasters. Editing, calling out overtakes etc to capture the gameplay footage for the F1Esports Semi Final - streamed to Twitch, Facebook and SkySportsF1 - Via F1's channels. As the Semi Final went so well - I was asked to come to Abu Dhabi and do the same duties there. This time I was working with a Race Director from Formula 1.
