Packaging Logistics is devoted to the advancement of knowledge and education of students in the interlinked areas of packaging, logistics, product development, and marketing, and to integrate these areas into product, process and service innovations. We are unique due to our emphasis towards a holistic packaging approach. A national and international inventory of academic research directed specifically towards packaging logistics reveals only one source, namely Packaging Logistics at Lund University, Faculty of Engineering LTH. Thus, we are recognised as one of the world's leading research and teaching groups in the integral field of Packaging and Logistics.

ReLog is a research platform founded on a strong partnership between Familjen Helsingborg, Lund University at Campus Helsingborg, and the region's industry. The purpose of ReLog is to engage, strengthen and develop interdisciplinary, applied and demand-oriented research that contributes to new skills, talents, leaders, jobs and innovation, and thus to the growth of industry. In addition, the purpose is to develop a research base for a successful master's program, where the research and industry collaboration contributes to world class regional development.

The LTH Career Programme enables newly appointed associate senior lecturers to take a structured approach to their personal and professional development. The programme contributes to the participants’ advancement to senior lecturers. It also provides an excellent foundation for a continuing academic career, as the participants strive for research and teaching excellence, innovation and impact. Enabling newly appointed associate senior lecturers at LTH to fulfil their potential as professionals will contribute to achieving LTH’s strategic aims.

At ASTER we strive to show that Sweden can be leading in an e-commerce sector that is sustainable in all dimensions. We exist to assist the sector in collaborating together on difficult challenges through innovation projects and joint initiatives which involves a large number of actors such as online retailers, cities, 3PLs, technical providers, service providers, distributors and many more. This by providing a mutual space for open dialogues to connect partners in their shared challenges and helping them in shaping innovation projects, finding project management and suitable project funding. ASTER started in August 2021 and has an initial funding until 2024 from Vinnova and the Swedish Energy Agency.

The overall objective of the FIPDes is to provide top-level and up-to-date education that qualifies the graduates to cope with the huge challenges in the sector of food innovation along with product design and packaging.
