Produce a custom kitchen/bathroom or living space to meet the needs of the customer whilst maintaining a set of safety standards and being structurally sound. I thoroughly enjoyed the creative problem solving in this role and building rapport with the customers, while working through the design stages, from tabling all ideas and options, drafting floor plans, and building plan variations, troubleshooting, and evolving the design in response. My tasks and responsibilities were: o Customer relations and clear communication. Every day and customer is different, and I adapt to them to best understand the customer’s needs, whether that be with a focus on their budget, overcoming a language barrier, or adaptation of the design to better suit different disabilities.o Diverse/Creative Thinking, depending on the situation, at times as part of a team. I welcome challenges, be it a difficult shaped room, or a customer with a wild idea that I had to make a reality. I solve these challenges by taking a step back and looking at the problem from a different, creative angle, and use trial and error on a variety of design software’s, such as Sketchup and Creation to test my ideas.o Project Management/ time management. I delivered to the customer from initial design to the final product, which involved changing or tight timelines, proactive communication to keep the customer up to date at each stage of the process, ensuring the progress of the installations, as well as the quality control of the delivered work.

HNC [=HBO] Mechanical Engineering - University of Strathclyde – (2021 – 2023) - Glasgow, ScotlandI have recently gained my HNC/HBO in Mechanical Engineering with an Aero-Mechanical focus. Key modules and skills gained are: o Flight and Space Flight along with Aero Design, taking an in-depth investigation into the principles of flight and being able to calculate operational principles of aircraft in a variety of situations, evaluating the design of the aircraft, movement, and its efficiency. As well as researching the different types of aircraft engines such as turbojet/prop/fan. o Mechanical engineering design (in-depth use of SolidWorks, creating complex components, assemblies, creating and reading technical drawings, as well as material selection and component measurement through the software, with the additional use of Edu pack software for material research). Each skill used to implement the fundamental design principles of engineering. o Mechanical Engineering – calculating stress and strain of components, the values of inertia and momentum in moving bodies, factoring in real life variables such as drag/friction, internal forces such as normal/shear forces. o Thermofluidic dynamics (Research into open and closed system bodies, conduction of experiments and calculations related to pipe flow systems, heat transfer and mass flow rate, when impacted by the laws of thermodynamics) o Electrical Machines and Control (Exploring the principles of AC/DC circuits as well as the use of transformers along with AC/DC motors/generators, and used in a laboratory setting) o Engineering Ethics; the responsibilities of being an engineering and the weight of our actions.

My core high school education in which I excelled in all thing technical and mathematical, such as mathematics, physics, engineering science, graphic communication. In addition to my academic achievements in high school, I done a great deal of volunteer work primarily as a stem ambassador, helping younger generations in my school, gain the passion for engineering through activities such as Lego technic club, science club and engineering competitions.
