Responsible for researching price discrepancies, participation in value analysis teams and analyzing data. Coordinate the ordering of stock and non stock items and special items including follow-up with customers, processing returns and credits, maintain and update purchase requisition and purchase order data, PAR locations, and Annual inventory database. Work with vendors on consignment products.Work with vendors, other facilities and 3rd party companies to eliminate waste and move product before expiration. Contacts vendors for implants and equipment for cases.Verifies current certification for distributors and verifies the current instruction for handling of human bone and tissue and upload into the BTM system.

The Patient Support Technician provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. This is a dual position; including the job responsibilities of a Monitor Technician and/or a Unit Secretary.
