In my role as a Biostatistician, I am collaboratively developing Joint Bayesian Survival models with my team to enhance the modeling of cancer patients' treatment responses through liquid bio-assays. This pioneering work represents a significant advancement in precision oncology, aiming to deliver more personalized cancer treatments and ultimately improve patient outcomes.

I am part of a team working in collaboration with the Mayo Clinic, Argonne National labs, the NCAR Wyoming Supercomputing Center (NWSC), Oracle, Wyoming INBRE, and Wyoming Public Health Laboratory to develop a pipeline using Inverse Reinforcement Learning (IRL) to predict the mutation trajectory of colorectal cancer for Mayo Clinic patients.

The purpose of the project was to build a forecast for predicting Jackson Lake Level. I produced effective short forecasts and pathed a way for exploring time series methodologies suited to a non-stationary and non-linear series for a long forecast window of 30 years (Time-series Dense Encoder: TiDE was most recommended). In addition, I discovered downstream variables were ineffective predictors of lake level and honed in on upstream variables that explained large fluctuations in Jackson Lake level, such as snowpack, SPI, and soil water storage.

I worked mostly in the command line with the use of nextflow to help assemble bioinformatic pipelines for reading, cleaning, and preprocessing genomic data for the Wyoming Public Health Laboratory.
