Not only this, all members will be encouraged to give regular input over the theatre we create and the way it's run, grown and developed; We want this to be a shared project!An Inclusive Theatre Group...Although we would fall under what would typically be branded an Inclusive Theatre Group, this is not a term we wish to be associated with. Coined in the seventies the term is outdated and something we feel should be, obsolete. Stating something to be inclusive is explicit of other places being exclusive to members of said group... We do not want members to feel this is a company they can join because it's "Inclusive"; We want our members to join because they have an interest, a passion or a want to work with us. I am hired by the My-Life charity in Standish, where I lead Confidence Building, Comedy and Creative workshops and also Hired to teach SEND Students Drama within the AIM awards.The work that we carry out at My-Life covers everything from independent living to animal care from Education to day services and from Advocacy to personal care. I have been performing stand up comedy on the circuit for over 3 years now. The circuit is over run with acts trying to make it into a solid medium for making money. However as the years go by it is becoming increasingly difficult to find and keep a steady flow of paid work. Material:I would consider myself to be quite a blue comedian where as when I started I was more of a story teller of embarrassment and Shame bit it took what seemed to be a natural progression into subjects of a blue content, showing my disgust or shame of these situations I have found myself in. It has been said before and will get said again I am a comedian with no jokes with the power to keep the audience engaged and laughing.
