• Represent the interests of Underwriting Services at various meetings related to initiatives, prioritization, and projects including but not limited to having a key role in the BOP Smart Underwriting project. This project will modernize the policy administration for our servicing agents as well as building in an underwriting rules engine to significantly improve the underwriting process.• Subject matter expert for the Businessowners (BOP) commercial line of business, also serve as the backup for the Commercial Package Policy lines of business. This responsibility extends to the end-user system testing of these changes as needed. • Maintain and update Underwriting Guidelines for the BOP line of business. • Communicate system and guideline-related updates to Underwriting Services and agency field force as needed. • Collaborate with other departments (Corporate Technology Services, Actuary, Compliance, Claims, Agency, etc.) to ensure that all stakeholders are included in discussions regarding projects, initiatives, system updates, and guideline changes.
