• All responsibilities of the Business Analyst I role with an increased focused on being a BA leader within the Smart BOP project.

• Represent the interests of Underwriting Services at various meetings related to initiatives, prioritization, and projects including but not limited to having a key role in the BOP Smart Underwriting project. This project will modernize the policy administration for our servicing agents as well as building in an underwriting rules engine to significantly improve the underwriting process.• Subject matter expert for the Businessowners (BOP) commercial line of business, also serve as the backup for the Commercial Package Policy lines of business. Support Underwriting Services and the agency field force by researching and addressing issues encountered with the various policy administration systems for these lines of business. • Elicit, organize, and deliver business requirements for changes to the various Underwriting and Underwriting-related policy administration systems. This responsibility extends to the end-user system testing of these changes as needed. • Maintain and update Underwriting Guidelines for the BOP line of business. • Communicate system and guideline-related updates to Underwriting Services and agency field force as needed. • Collaborate with other departments (Corporate Technology Services, Actuary, Compliance, Claims, Agency, etc.) to ensure that all stakeholders are included in discussions regarding projects, initiatives, system updates, and guideline changes.
