Responsible for the success of Workday Analytic Applications, a new series of applications that will deliver augmented insights to HR and Finance business users and help organizations transform into a more data driven decision making culture.

In my role as the Product liaison from Workday, I focused on integrating Workday's big data acquisition, Platfora, into Workday's workforce and technology stack, and on reshaping the product direction to tackle our customers problems. As the project moved from knowledge sharing and development planning to execution, I became the Product Manager for the data preparation component of the new Workday Prism Analytics product. In addition to developing the roadmap and leading the execution of a 25+ person team, I play an active role in the broader Workday Analytics team thru market research, customer acquisition, and customer development.

As the Product Manager of Workday's Data Engineering team, I was responsible for providing a highly performant and scalable indexing service that handles high volume transactions and queries. To deliver on this goal, I work closely with our engineering team to design, performance test, and roll out complex features that impact thousands of enterprises and millions of users, who all depend on our software for daily business transactions.

During my time in the APM rotation program, I spent 7 months embedded in Workday's core transaction management team. This team is responsible for building, scaling, and maintaining the core object management service that handles all of Workday customers' online transactions. My responsibilities during this exciting time included data analysis to find performance hotspots or memory warning signs, working with engineering teams to implement performance and memory fixes, digging into systems dashboards and server logs to triage customer escalations, and working with architects to design new features such as a load balancing service.
