Supply Chain Manager for the Sheet Metal Centre of Excellence UAP, Safran Nacelles Burnley.• Manage the Planning and Control Process for the UAP• Lead the UAP Supply Chain department and team• Draw up the Supply Plan for the UAP• Analyse and incorporate the variations in demand into the supply plan• Carry out scenario modelling for the various demand hypothesis (high, nominal, low)• Manage the resource for the UAP taking care to monitor all critical and bottleneck resources• Implement action plans to reduce hazards, (i.e. external supply constraints, uncertainties,new developments, transfers) in order to maintain the desired service level within the scope of activities• Create the inventory forecast and monitor progress (VEX Management) and be accountable for the inventory accuracy within the UAP• Monitoring and calculating the deployment and cost of buffers & hedging and monitor the impact• Making suggestions for temporary stocks to level out production plans in relation to demand• Work with the finance sector to provide a financial assessment of the plan• Manage the master production schedule and the material requirements plan validation• Adapt the supply plan or master production schedule in case of under/over load to balance the load/capacity and suggest actions for more flexibility within the UAP to absorb occasional overload• Manage the detailed scheduling process following the calculation of the materialrequirements plan and control and optimise component/materials availability and stock levels (raw materials, WIP, semi-finished)
