Daniel is an Australian based multi-instrumentalist, composer and music producer. A graduate in Composition and Music Technology, he has toured in many Australian bands and has composed music for film, theatre and dance.He is the co-creator, arranger and performer of the award-winning production, Tubular Bells ‘for Two’. A theatrical music event where two multi-instrumentalists play over twenty instruments to re-create Mike Oldfield’s 1973 classic album, Tubular Bells.Daniel is a member of Sydney based folk-psych-country outfit The Maple Trail, and was the guitarist/singer/songwriter of The Saturns, who toured Australia extensively in the past deacde, and won the 2006 BMMA Award for Best Rock Band.He was recently the musical director and a performer in William Yang’s My Generation, commissioned by the National Portrait Gallery of Australia. He has also composed music for the dance productions of Hanging by a Thread (2003) and Reinvent Your Name (2002).In film, Daniel has collaborated with Andrée Greenwell, co-composing music for the US feature documentary Home: RefugioTX (2004). Other compositional works include the soundtracks to short films such as The Gelatinous Drool of Ignorance (2007), and Organ Delivery (2005). He has also recorded with the likes of Yothu Yindi, and performed in sessions for TV productions such as Blue Heelers and Headland.
