Veracity Forecasting and Analysis was acquired by Systems Planning and Analysis in July 2019. Veracity is now an SPA company, forming a Group (VFG) inside the Joint Division (JD) of SPA's corporate structure. Day-today operations have not changed, and my role in VFG remains essentially the same as it was prior to the acquisition.

Dan is the VP of Data Science at Veracity Forecasting and Analysis. Veracity develops predictive analytic methodologies, prototypes computational forecasting tools, and leverages those tools to improve decision-making.The vision for Veracity is to provide unquestionable integrity, honesty, rigor, and precision in meeting its customers' analytical needs. We are committed to providing enterprise leaders with critical tools to inform high-stakes decisions that maximize the value of scarce resources.

- Focused on providing insight in a number of areas across naval aviation, including: aircraft inventory management, carrier air wing scheduling, resource requirements development, and platform life-cycle costing.- Operational field experience included serving as a short-term field consultant analyst to both Commander, Carrier Strike Group TEN and Commander and Commander, Carrier Strike Group ELEVEN.

- Collaborated on multiple physical science projects including: quantum molecular dynamics simulations of warm dense matter, computing fully converged solutions to multiple photon absorption of ultra-short laser pulses, and time-dependent calculations of ion-atom collisions. - Designed tools for analysis of quantum molecular dynamics simulations. - Contributed directly to solving research problems of national importance.- Was a team member developing social dynamics and cultural intelligence analysis software.- Installed and managed a high performance multi-core linux cluster.

- Combined formal theory and high performance computing to investigate double photoionization of small molecules.- Calculated the first numerically exact fully differential cross sections for the double photoionization of H2. - Managed, supported, and secured group's linux computers.
