About Daniel Horsnell
Having attended the University of New South Wales I have fostered a passion for robotics and software. This is exemplified by my ongoing work with the university project R2-Robo re-cycle. This project aims to create a robotic system capable of automating e-waste recycling. During my time in this project I have created a digital twin of the robotic system. Furthermore, I am currently working on a computer vision program, capable of using a disassembly video to instruct the robotic system.As a fourth year Mechatronics Engineering student, I'm excited to finish on a high, and embrace the world of robotics full time. Currently, I work as a casual robotics software engineer intern. This experience is bringing me valuable insights and knowledge in operating systems, autonomous vehicles as well as frontend and backend website development. These experiences, fill me with excitement for the future possibilities of my career and the robotics industry.
