Conduct a delay analysis in relation to numerous project milestones and prepare an independent report. • Airport, Western Asia: Largely focused on a c. 40,000m2 catering facility within a new airport facility. Advise and report on various issues concerning delay, conduct a delay analysis on the project and prepare an independent report.• Large development, Western Asia: A series of engagements in relation to an overall scheme that includes multiple high-rise towers and other major infrastructure, and combines residential, work and entertainment over a space of more than 1.6 million m2. Assisting the employer in assessing legacy claims. Collaborating with the employer’s legal team to advise on (i) whether the claims as-submitted were determinable and (ii) assessing the employers likely exposure in the context of the claims. • Petrochemical facility, Western Asia: The refinery spread over 900 hectares and had refining capacity 230,000 barrels of crude oil per day. Assisting the contractor in preparing a delay claim relating to the effects of COVID-19 during 2020. Preparation of a protocol to facilitate agreement of the issues in dispute.• Property development, United Kingdom: Provided advice to the contractor in relation to delays caused by significant changes to the design.• Manufacture of rolling stock, United Kingdom & Europe: In the context of negotiation then meditation. Provided advice to the contractor in relation to delays caused by the provision of inaccurate or untimely infrastructure information and delays caused by additional systems requirements and changing design requirements. • Jack up drilling rig, Central Asia: Advised the claimant on the effective causes of delay through fabrication, erection, outfitting and commissioning.
