I've found it difficult to define my professional life over the past 16 years, and for that, I am grateful. I've been lucky enough to travel and work in many sectors, occasionally dwelling long enough to achieve accreditation. I hold a degree in Fine Art, Art History & Design and I’ve been producing art work on commission since my days in college. More recently, I've developed this skillset towards graphic art, design & video. I began a start up company with colleagues in 2013 called Design Republic with the intention of providing Graphic & Digital Media solutions and support to similar start up companies. It was a fascinating experience that I stepped away from in 2014. I currently work on commision in my spare time, collaberating with artists & musicians worldwide. I hold qualifications in anatomy, physiology & holistic massage along with sports injuries therapy to accompany my love for playing Gaelic Games. This proved to be a useful skill when travelling and working abroad. I’m currently working full-time as a Social Media Executive for a busy national utility in my hometown of Cork. I have played music in performing bands since my teenage years and I continue to perform today. I’ve done DIY event promotion both at home and abroad, and I've been lucky to have performed in a number of countries in the UK and Europe. I helped establish PYRE, which is a music collective in Cork City. This was designed to accomodate underground and unsigned acts, home and abroad who are interested in performing in the city. We've catered for over 50 events in the past 4 years and we've developed a nationwide network for travelling bands to negotiate. Through this, I’ve met some incredible people with inspiring stories that have motivated me to enjoy life to it’s fullest. I’m currently studying special needs assistance and psychology on a part-time basis. An rud is annamh, is iontach.
