City Engineer
CurrentLead the Engineering Department of 13 people within the Division of Public Works, overseeing planning, design, and construction administration of roadway, bicycle/pedestrian, bridge, traffic signal, building, stormwater, and wastewater collection and treatment infrastructure, working collaboratively with other City Divisions and DPW Departments including Streets, Parks & Recreation, Wastewater, and Solid Waste in completing capital improvement projects and engineering review of all private development. Notable projects include the City’s 10-year $75 million paving program, annual $6.5 million sewer rehabilitation program, MS4 permit compliance program, $20 million Riverfront redevelopment, construction of 25,000sf DPW Facility, Applied Information Emergency Vehicle Preemption and Priority System implementation in 93 signalized intersections, construction of inventory and assessment of city’s 185-mile sidewalk network, expansion of DPW’s asset inventory in GIS, and integration of the Cartegraph Asset Management platform.
