Team Lead of the CCS (Cloud Commerce Services)/Mission Control team. I am responsible for architecting a .NET 6+ & React application that allows for self service processes on our Configured Commerce instances hosted in kubernetes clusters. We utilize various technologies for automating processes such as Argo (Workflows/Events/CD), home brewed micro services for monitoring certain aspects of application deployments/configurations, and micro front ends for embedding data and workflows in various applications. My team's work is focused in application development but with a heavy integration and understanding of our hosting infrastructure.

Working on the Commerce Cloud Services team bridging the gap between the Engineering and SRE teams. We provide critical infrastructure necessary to perform complicated support processes in a simplified manner. Daily experience using SRE systems such as ArgoCD, Argo Workflows, Kubernetes, and more. We also build and manage applications written in .NET. This includes a centralized micro service control platform for triggering complicated build tasks (Database backups, environment copy, remote sql execution, and more).

Working primarily in .NET to create applications that improve patient health care. Managing projects to ensure quality and on time completion. Projects are all related to the betterment of patient health or improving the efficacy of providers and staff. Half of our team is focused on machine learning research and applications including diagnostic tools, alarm fatigue reduction, medical risk identification, and more. Some software projects I have worked on include a critical, high risk, patient TPN ordering tool for the NICU (Turbo TPN). Another is an application that interfaces with NY state's prescription database to help identify patients who may be at risk of addiction. I've also worked on a mobile application for collecting patient reported outcome measurements (PROMIS). There are some other projects that are ongoing! We do a lot for a relatively small team.With the Covid-19 crisis I was responsible for creating the employee screening tool to track Covid across our hospital network. This tool was later utilized in the creation of the Back-to-School program for U of R and the community health initiative Roc Covid. We open sourced the front end of the chat bot due to heavy community interest (found here: https://github.com/University-of-Rochester-URVentures/EmployeeChatBot)

As a co-op: Maintained an internal API written in Rails and tested via Rspec. Built a rails application which acted as a client for the relevant API data. I also managed AWS S3 and EC2 instances which hosted some of our applications & data. I occasionally provided technical support for events hosted by Dawnbreaker. Full Time: When redesigning our internal client tracking software we purchased the source of Easy Redmine. I gained valuable experience analyzing and learning a system that was over 1.2 million LOC; written by developers from a foreign country. From then on my job involved the customization and plugin creation within the source software of Redmine & Easy Redmine (Rails). This required the use of meta programming to change Easy Redmine functionality while keeping their code base unchanged. This enabled us to continue taking their security/feature improvements and updates while not causing integration nightmares when we combined their changes with ours. We worked to implement useful features to add to the, extensive, existing feature set. These changes facilitated drastic efficiency improvements within the company infrastructure. As a software developer i was involved in all aspects of the product life cycle from requirements gathering to QA and product release. Our team is small (2-3 people) so each of us have to know the system inside and out. We also wrote automated testing utilizing Capybara, Factory Girl, and Rspec.
