Production Technician
CurrentProduction Technician for APR Energy at INPEX LNG Darwin• Operation and maintenance of dual fuel turbines (GE TM2500).• Control room operator duties utilising SCADA (CITECT). • Fault finding turbines - mechanical and control, utilising GE GAP (PLC: MircoNet) and Control Assistant. • Fault finding turbine sub systems including flow control valves and drivers (Woodward). • Fault finding HIMA SIS including use of Silworx for HIMA PLC interrogation. • Field operator duties including inspections and identifying abnormalities for turbines and entire balance of plant. • Responsible person for Gas Type B, providing technical support for gas systems and guidance for Gas Type B compliance to Australian Standards.• Level 3 INPEX ISSoW accredited - Permit holder and task supervision. • Creation of complex permits and isolation procedures within active LNG facility, including depressurisation and purging procedures. • Turbine mechanical maintenance including water wash’s and 4000hourly services. • Instrumentation calibration and fault finding for all turbine peripheral sensors. • Fire and gas safety system maintenance and fault finding; including gas detector calibration.• Communication of operations between operation teams, including detailed handover to next shift.• Creation and modification of HMI screens with Vista – Power Monitoring Expert (Snieder).• Record of maintenance and logging of activities. • Carryout reporting procedures utilising Excel, Ion Vista and GE Control Assistant. • Utilise Oracle JDE software for maintenance records (SAP alternative).
