Hi, I'm Daniel Huynh.Ever since I was a kid, I have always loved solving puzzles, and exploring the unique cultures and cities that define humanity in our world. I believe it is important to devote my time and skills towards impactful initiatives, learning from my own family's journey and background and being the first member of my family to be born in America and the sacrifices they have taken to bless me with the opportunities I have today. As I've grown older, I continue to seek projects that require solving the most challenging problems that impact and empower communities as its core principle. In finding new experiences, I have always looked to take part in the most impactful projects possible, whether that is working on smart city applications for LiDAR to fight against flood risks in Vietnam, researching the building of computer vision AI/ML models in healthcare to diagnose diseases from medical imagery, or researching the behind-the-scenes logic that power autonomous vehicles empowering accessibility for people of all needs. Over the summer, I interned at Ansys, working on STK, an aerospace mission simulation software enabling the industry leaders in space exploration and aeronautics to simulate entire missions before take off!I'm working as a software engineer at Johns Hopkins APL, developing on multiple projects in the domains of systems modeling software and network security monitoring software. I’m also concurrently studying for my Master’s degree in CS at Johns Hopkins University.
