As one of the founding partners in TARPAN Managers and TARPAN Group, I am responsible both for the two companies' day-to-day business operations and for providing consulting to our clients. My specialization is company restructuring and revitalization, turnaround management, minimizing credit risk and solving complicated legal issues of client companies. I have been actively involved in several reorganisation projects and bankruptcy proceedings.

I was managing Credit Risk Management Division focused on corporate clients. My responsibility included both standard and endangered company clients' portfolios. My division's competences included providing loans, analysing company clients and assessing both credit and legal risk, as well as loan documentation, monitoring the bank's corporate portfolio and, last but not least, the segment of company revitalization and restructuring and debt collection, including reorganizations and insolvencies.

This engagement gave me responsibility over restructuring and workout processes with the whole portfolio of the bank's clients – not only large corporate clients, but also companies in the SME segment, real estate and even retail clients. Besides that, I oversaw bankruptcy and insolvency issues, public auctions, executions processes and other similar areas.

As the head of department, the scope of my work moved to include not only restructuring, but also workout processes. Our team specialized solely on large corporations and this position gave me an opportunity to take part in various workout, restructuring, revitalisation and hard collection processes.

After the bank's transformation was complete, I moved into Corporate Restructuring. My team was focused on finding effective solutions for difficult situations of large corporate clients. I was also responsible for complicated legal matters and high-risk litigations.

As a part of the Transition team, I was responsible for post-privatisation processes and helped with the transformation of Česká spořitelna into Erste Group. Our job was to re-shape the bank into a modern corporation and ensure smooth integration into the group.

My responsibilities included providing legal support for Credit Risk Management, including loan approval processes. We focused on Large Corporate and SME segments. This position also required me to take part in restructuring and workout processes. I also provided legal consultancy and advice and oversaw legal and collateral transactions, including documentation. I also managed corporate governance and compliance issues.

My experience at this position included practice as an assistant jurist during my studies at Charles' University. My primary focus was on Czech law, civil and commercial law, litigation, company law and financial issues.

Before studying at Charles University, I worked at the Managing Offices of the Foreign Payment Traffic Dept., where I was in charge of foreign payments and foreign exchange transactions.
