• Working caseloads over 4 weeks periods with between 20 - 35 learners at a time • Assisting learners during group job search initially with their CV, Cover letter and progressing into written and online applications both for advertised vacancies and speculative approaches.• Assisting learners during one to one sessions discussing employment related barriers as well as general conversation ensuring the learner is happy, confident, motivated. • Setting targets to be completed making sure they progress throughout the four weeks .• Using Admin experience to compile word documents, spread sheets and internet research for vacancies.

To help deliver Flexible New Deal (FND), Working Neighbourhood Fund (WNF) projects by sourcing work placements and permanent job opportunities through job search, cold calling companies, networking and referrals. • To assist with weekly job clubs and supporting clients in searching for permanent employment either at the training building or at Erdington fire station.• To record activity and outcomes using an in house system and manual paperwork. • To source permanent job opportunities with local employers through searching the internet and cold calling.• Administration duties, Faxing, Filling, Photocopying, Emailing, Telephone queries and auditing files.• Dealing with clients on a one to one basis helping a wide range of people with different needs and requirements • Using IT skills to compile CV’s, cover/spec letters and emails. • Creating spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations • Auditing client files
