Responsibilities involved the testing of Windows and Web Applications developed in .NET and C# on all MS Windows and Windows Server platforms, using SQL Server 2005 - 2012 databases.Maintenance of the above test environments using Microsoft Hyper-V Server to reduce costs and improve utilization of the companies systems more efficiently. The use of SQL Server 2005 - 2012 to run upgrade scripts, as well as backup and restore test databases as required.In addition to the above for future growth I evaluated SmartBear’s TestComplete, writing up a business proposal for implementation.Daily activities included:• Providing defect tracking throughout the development lifecycle using Microsoft’s Team Foundation Server.• Designing, developing and implementing manual test processes according to the test plan for further future testing purposes. MS Word and Excel were used for documenting these processes, which were stored using Microsoft’s Team Foundation Server• Ensuring that all testing activities were completed in-line with the test plan

Duties involve an Agile testing of Windows and Web Applications developed in VB 6 and VB.Net on MS Windows XP and 7 platforms (32 bit and 64 bit), using SQL Server 2005/2008 databases and used in conjunction with AutoDesk's AutoCAD.Maintenance of the QA databases using SQL Server 2005/2008 to run upgrade scripts, as well as backup and restores as required.As senior QA Analyst, other responsibilities include deputising for the QA Manager in his absence. Duties involve planning engineers daily workloads and training new employees on bespoke software functionality.

Main duties involved managing IT field engineers daily workloads. Responsible for liaising with customers and engineers to arrange the resolution of Hardware/software faults on Desktop/Laptop PC's. Past experience with such faults helped decide how long an engineer would need to resolve such faults.Being the main point of contact meant that good communication skills where essential for building a repertoire with customers and field engineers.

Providing second line support. Responsibilities involve vetting calls received from first line, contacting the customer and resolving incidents or progressing bespoke application faults with the relevant third parties technical support staff.Assisting when required as the first point of contact on an ITIL compliant IT service desk.
