Purchase assigned materials to support service remanufacturing department. Request and analyze quotations from suppliers for material. Place PO’s in Glovia with external and internal suppliers, negotiating pricing, lead time and delivery. Work with suppliers to manage deliveries and expedite materials as needed. Monitor and update internal databases throughout delivery cycle, including material receipts. Resolve delivery, customs and financial issues as needed. Interface with multiple Panasonic factories globally to order and transfer material. Create and release orders in CCORE for subassembly production at PASMX. Perform financial analysis to determine feasibility of new subassembly additions to CCORE. Forecast future purchases and deliveries by analyzing data from past history and model life cycle position to minimize inventories and obsolescence. Provide forecasts to internal and external suppliers to reduce lead time. Work with service department personnel on LTB requirements and negotiate with suppliers to minimize cost and negative financial impact. Work with United Radio on scrap material in a timely manner.
