- Standardize compliance processes, achieve efficiency gains- Support the business with indirect tax affairs- Drive Tax Technology- E-Invoicing- Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM)

- Monitor VAT jurisprudence and tax law changes;- Participate in VAT gremiums, discussion groups;- Advise on VAT strategy and VAT process improvements/simplifications;- Advise on internal and external customers on VAT/Intrastat procedures;- Maintain VAT tax logic and master data in ERP system; - Give in-house VAT training;- Manage VAT audits in European countries;- Maintain implemented VAT Tax Control Framework;- Perform quarterly statistical sample tests ('Horizontal Monitoring'); - Respond to questions from tax authorities, statistical agencies and auditors;- Prepare VAT/Intrastat returns for the European operations;- Prepare VAT refund requests;- Participate in projects on an ad hoc basis;- Liaise with third parties compliance providers w.r.t. preparation and completion of VAT returns;- Review VAT general ledger account reconciliations etc.;- Provide support to FEI's international trade compliance group (customs matters, audits etc.);- Manage one part-time direct report (VAT accountant)

- Corporate Income Tax return preparation for Dutch fiscal unity and other Dutch legal entities of the Philips group (E-filing); - Describe and draft process flows for the tax return preparation process; - Liason for Corporate Control's Holding Accounting Department; - Preparing documentation on fiscal aspects of M&A deals;- Assist with internal tax audits;- Maintaining documentation tools (a.o. IT tools) for Tax Control Framework purposes and for and in-and external auditors.

- US and Dutch Individual Income Tax return preparation; - Advising (Philips expats/HR managers) on individual income tax and related matters such as * International Wage Tax * Tax Treaties * Social Security; - Tax Equalization (policy).

- Tax advice- Tax appeals - Tax return preparation (a.o. VAT, wage tax, individual income tax, corporate income tax)

- Tax Audit Preparation
