The US Naval War College drives Department of Defense (DoD) continuous improvement efforts by developing the critical thinking, communication skills, and global operational performance of future senior executives. • In support of this graduate-level securities studies education program, I designed and presented lectures and conducted seminars that enhanced DoD/enterprise efforts to improve the management of global operations across all functional areas. • Recognized as a top 5% professor at the college. One of only two professors, of forty-five, in the department to receive a 7/7 “Overall Outstanding” assessment from students. • Mentored and evaluated 60 consulting projects annually to achieve 100% successful completion and on-time delivery, guiding executives through the analysis and the creation of solutions for mission-critical challenges.

In 2011, I was nominated and hand-selected by the Chief of Staff of the Army to represent the U.S. Department of Defense at this prestigious public academic institution that reports to France’s prime minister. The program enhanced French-American cooperation and developed partnerships with key organizations in Europe. • In support of this program, I orchestrated a French/American research team of 25 senior executives that identified the policies, technical capabilities, and operational concepts needed to counter terrorism in the mid to long-term. • The study produced a monograph that integrated and synthesized the insights from stake-holding organizations in Europe, the Middle East, China, and the United States.• Developed program proposals that led to improvements in U.S., French, and DoD global counterterrorism efforts.

Battalion Commander/Chief Operating Officer of a multi-function organization, consisting of 929 personnel. Mentored the performance of over 50 executives/program managers. Responsible for all matters of training, tactical employment, health and welfare, leadership development, mentorship, maintenance and logistics delivery of the unit and over $500M in assets under inventory. Managed an operational budget of over $50 million. • Rated #2 of 153 Battalion Commanders in the division. • Recognized by the CEO/Division Commander for crafting the organization’s benchmark program for executive development, allowing the unit to accomplish all missions with 80% manning.• Received the CEO’s award for human resources retention excellence and development three years in a row, achieving the highest levels of key personnel retention in the entire division.• Implemented a comprehensive strategy that enhanced the cross-functional integration and quality of administrative, intelligence, logistics, human resources, maintenance, knowledge management, public communications, and information operation processes and systems. • Due to demonstrated competence building high-performing teams in multinational and multicultural environments, selected by the CEO to organize, train, and lead a multinational team in Kirkuk, Iraq.
