In his role as Finance Manager at IMEC, Daniel leverages his experience in data analytics, finance, and operational compliance while driving programs and initiatives that support IMEC’s mission to ignite Illinois manufacturing excellence and global competitiveness.Previously as President of Cold Blooded Gear (CBG), Daniel worked at the intersection of product innovation, logistics, business management, and customer experience while leading programs and initiatives to expand CBG’s goal to locally manufacture high quality apparel and redefine the way athletes interact with sports apparel companies.Prior to his role at CBG, Daniel served as Director at DaVita Inc. where he worked closely with the Chief Compliance Officer and Office of the Inspector General to reconceive how compliance groups leverage technology for the purposes of contract execution, performance monitoring, and analytics tracking and reporting. Before DaVita, Daniel worked as a consultant where he focused on strategy and operations while leading university-wide programs and initiatives designed to increase academic excellence, expand institutional reach, and improve financial and operational practices.Daniel received a B.S. of Accounting from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and is a U.S. Air Force veteran that served during Operation Enduring Freedom. He currently volunteers on the Board of Directors for Free Horizon Montessori PK-8 School and continues to actively monitor technological innovations in the fields of education, aerospace & defense, and renewable energy.
