Represent broker-dealers and registered representatives in securities litigation, including claims brought by investors with self-regulatory organizations such as the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

Conduct legal research and draft full bench memoranda and opinions on motions for summary judgment, dismissal, abstention, and various issues arising under the Bankruptcy Code or related to the bankruptcy administration.

Drafted 30 - 40 orders on motions and or bench memoranda per week relating to child support, spousal support, custody, visitation, emancipation, reimbursement of expenses, and enforcement of prior court orders for both the post-judgment of divorce and non-dissolution dockets. Analyzed financial statements to calculate child support. Mediated custody and visitation disputes between parties.

Performed legal research and drafted memoranda on various matters arising under Federal Criminal Procedure and the Sherman Act. Drafted motions on evidentiary issues.

Performed legal research and drafted memoranda on securities-related issues including 10b-5 antifraud, misappropriation, suitability, guarantees against losses, and supervision. Conducted sanctions analysis and prepared memoranda for disciplinary action against brokers and/or broker dealers. Analyzed testimony transcripts and drafted questions for on-the-record interviews.

Summer 2011. Researched criminal law issues and statutes to aid with trial preparation. Prepared bench memoranda and orders on motions regarding procedural and substantive issues.
