For almost 16 years, I have led the land negotiations, stakeholder and community relations, and complex, regulated stakeholder consultation of 1.5 GWs of Greengate Power Corp's Wind and Solar Project developments in Western Canada. This includes, the currently operating Travers Solar Project, Blackspring Ridge Wind Project, Halkirk I Wind Project, Paintearth Wind Project, Wheatland Wind Project, and Stirling Wind Project's (all now owned by other companies). Through my work with all Stakeholders, those being Landowners, County Representatives, First Nations, and opposing landowners, I have established a reputation for being approachable, transparent, and responsive to their issues and concerns. Through this experience, I developed the ability to navigate through those tough issues and concerns of stakeholders, while enabling the project to maintain development schedules and advance on time, and on budget. Perhaps the most impressive result, only a single AUC hearing. Looking forward, I plan on leveraging this diverse experience in a consulting capacity, to maintain stakeholder relations for operating assets, greenfield stakeholder relations, land acquisition, public consultation, and provide O&M / Agrivoltaic consulting service to the solar industry.
