I'm a proactive individual with a natural affinity for problem solving, calm mannered in any given situation and focusing on the role/task at hand.I currently work for Halfords, as an Auto Technician with several years of experience within the position. My primary role is to carry out installations on a wide range of vehicles, while providing support to the wider team utilising knowledge and expertise or working within the sales role. The tech installations I carry out range from the hard-wiring of dash-cams or standalone reversing cameras, to fully integrated systems such as audio unit and speaker installation, and integrated reversing cameras systems, utilising the existing in vehicle display.I use my experience and knowledge to give advice on products, identify and correctly source components and then carry out the installations if applicable.Along side my role at Halfords, I'm studying towards a BSc(Hons) degree in Computing and IT with the Open University and have just started the final year of study.
