Born and raised on a working family cattle ranch located on the island of Maui, Hawaii. During my youth, I gained a great deal of field experience in building and engineering projects before beginning college. While attending Montana Tech, I realized how many projects I have completed on the ranch, for my own company, and through my work at other companies, using engineering techniques. As I continued in my college career, I found myself using more engineering processes and functions in my work and personal projects. My proficiency in programs such as SolidWorks and Mathcad 15 have helped to determine if a project will work or not. After graduating in the Spring of 2019, I chose to further my education by enrolling in the General Engineering Master’s program. In 2021, I will be graduating with a Master’s Degree and hope to begin a career as a Welding or Mechanical Engineer, where I may continually gain knowledge and experience in engineering while providing value to my employer. My welding skills mainly centered on SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW. I am also well versed in using various shop tools. References available upon request.
