All of these are done using personal banker and pioneer software used by the bank. I am responsible for balancing my till using Excel and as Chief Cashier I manage the tills for my colleagues, ensuring they have enough cash and dealing with difficult customer enquirers. It is my role to ensure all colleagues know what targets have been set and help them to achieve this. I am continually working to deadlines e.g. appointment booking, I take responsibility for finding customer needs and providing them with products to suit. I am an authorised key holder and open and close the shop. I do regular training on data protection and product knowledge to stay on top and provide an accurate service. As an IAH I am responsible for running the branch when the manager is away, undertaking all daily checks, working with colleges to ensure all targets are met and liasing with the area manager. I am currently undergoing training to be a Personal Banker, this role includes sitting on a one to one basis with my customer and telling them all the facts about a particular product/service. After if they choose to go through with the product I will set this up for them and ensure they have all the information and literature they need. Show less

I was employed as a Supervisor, in addition to this I was the talk and shop representative for the Nuneaton branch as well as being the induction personnel. My responsibilities include running the shop, opening and closing, handling customer queries, monitoring and controlling stock, ensuring the safety of our customers by date alerts, serving on tills and cashing up tills. My role as the Induction Personnel is to provide new employees with a structured and welcoming start to Iceland by taking them through our health and safety process, all legal requirements and company polices.
