Plant Supervisor
Current• Responsibilities include all aspects of the manufacturing operation including safety, quality, environmental, production, warehouse, and purchasing.• Supervise and formulate work schedule based on sales for a workforce of 30 hourly full-time and 20-30 temporary associates. Work with temporary agencies to recruit new temporary associates.• Responsible for all QA for Production and developing SOPs for testing procedures• Communicate and implement safety and quality programs and training to all associates.• Develop and design new equipment installations to improve efficiencies. Works with maintenance team to determine preventive maintenance schedules and order parts to keep equipment in top running condition. • Schedule all production based on availability of raw materials and customer needs. Responsible for all production entries and purchasing of raw materials, which includes quality. Set and implement goals for plant productivity. • Work with Plant Manager in budgeting and costing including absorption and expenses. • Coordinate delivery schedules with dispatchers based on orders.• Work with Office Manager for payroll and reconciliation.
