About Daniel James
Hello!I have been creating Minecraft Bedrock Marketplace content for the past 18 months, working with Cubecraft and Feed The Beast.I am mostly a gameplay engineer, creating behaviours, functions, scripts etc to create new gameplay experiences and mechanics. But I can also use BlockBench to create models and textures for models, blocks and items. I can also make small builds, whether for a world spawn or as generating structures in a Minecraft world.Before working for Cubecraft, I was a dry liner, installing walls and ceilings into new build homes. I have always wanted a career in video games, and using my spare time during covid lockdowns, and my love for Minecraft, I began to learn how to create addons for Minecraft. My first public project was a free addon I made called "Golem Minions", which added small golems that would take on many different jobs, from chopping down trees to mining stone, or even farming crops and collecting items. I published a lot of videos tracking my progress on this project to my YouTube channel, where 3 years later I am still asked for new content and fixes to be made.Since working for Cubecraft, I have worked on 7 projects from start to finish that have been published, with more projects in the pipeline. Cubecraft have been a great company to work for, helping me to improve my knowledge, and allowing me to work on some fantastic projects which I have been extremely proud of.
