Correctional Facility Team A 2018 - March 2021 Correctional officers are responsible for enforcing rules and regulations in a prison or jail. They oversee individuals who have been arrested and are awaiting trial, or who have been sentenced to serve time in a jail, reformatory, or prison.Correctional Facility Services March 2021 - Present - Safety and security of the Kitchen, Inmates and the ABL civilian contract workers - Providing an accurate count of the number of meal trays and snack bags that will be needed to feed the Jail for breakfast, lunch, and dinner - Preventative Maintenance work ex: Descale dishwasher, fix wheels on kitchen carts - Work along with Classification to get Inmate Trustee workers for the kitchen and for the 811 Marketplace - Keep track of the utensils that are used in the kitchen; by logging when and where they are used, and replace them if they are broken or damaged - Make sure the Inmate special meal book is up to date with transfers and releases - Inventory of the blue emergency boxes on each post once a week - Make sure there is a steady supply of detergent, soap, and cleaning chemicals for the dishes - Keep the Inmate Trustee Kitchen training book up to date with transfers and releases from the Kitchen floor - Provide an escort for the sick call nurse when necessary - Make a log of what floor each strap and or cart, number of trays, and the time they were sent out of the kitchen
