This included taking the type and measurements of the radiators, if the electrical storage heaters had been removed, if the thermostats were in the correct place, if the thermostats came on when adjusted to above the room temperature and off when below, if the pre-payment system was working correctly and the credit was on, if the HIU electric socket was engraved, if the consumer unit was marked HIU, and the sprinklers were in the correct place on our allocated safety maps for each respective property. - Inspected how some tenant’s energy usage levels had changed throughout time. - Reported issues with flats that were being renovated, such as the asbestos needing to be removed. - Discussed how to deal with certain issues at the flats, such as what to do with hoarded items congesting the flats. - Checking on the balance levels of the thermostats. - Delivering letters about service charges that the tenants had to pay. - Requesting tenants to fill out and sign a cheque requisition, so that tenants could claim compensation for any damage and inconveniences the installation of the pipes and the energy system may have caused.
