As a Landing Zone Developer, I architect and maintain the foundational infrastructure for numerous company applications migrating to AWS. This involves establishing robust internal and external connectivity, DNS, and implementing comprehensive security and financial controls. Leveraging a combination of Terraform, Terragrunt, and custom Python and Go tools, we manage over a hundred AWS accounts and support diverse application architectures. Within my team, I contribute to low-level architecture design, user story development, and conduct rigorous code reviews to uphold company standards and strategic goals.

I developed multiple web applications using JavaScript (VueJS), Java, and Ruby on Rails, and deployed them to AWS using virtual machines and containers.I utilized automation tools like Terraform, Jenkins and blackbox to manage the infrastructure.

I studied programming languages such as Ruby, Java, Erlang and C, database systems, computer networks, intelligent systems, finite state machines, security and learned and applied different software architecture patterns.I have also gained valuable insights into the practical application of computer ethics, software testing, and FPGA programming through seminars and workshops.In my bachelor thesis, I compared a container-based and virtual machine-based infrastructure solutions for small, self-organized teams. The goal was to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of each approach in terms of performance, scalability, and ease of management.

As a system engineer, I was responsible for developing three existing web applications based on Ruby on Rails, Java, Redis and Oracle SQL (later Postgres) that we have later migrated from an on-premises setup to AWS. The migration involved transitioning from a manual configuration to a fully automated Infrastructure as Code approach using Terraform and Packer. The new AWS infrastructure was designed using EC2 Auto Scaling Groups and a PostgreSQL RDS database in a three-tier architecture. Deployment automation was achieved using Jenkins and CodeDeploy.We adopted a Kanban methodology, incorporating a custom story creation process and a strong sense of ownership among team members.

As a trainee, I gained practical experience in web development and network operations. I developed applications using PHP, HTML, CSS, Vue, and MySQL in a Windows server environment. Additionally, I honed my skills in network operations by working in the telephone and network operations centers. My responsibilities included debugging SIP calls and configuring and connecting IP networks.My academic background in Java, C++, and SQL, combined with my practical experience, has equipped me with a solid foundation in programming and networking. I am proficient in designing, operating, debugging IP networks, configuring network devices, and provisioning servers with various operating systems.
