I was born in Vienna in 1991 and lived most of my life in Italy where I also studied physics at the University of Pisa. During my studies I discovered my interest in applied physics and electrical engineering. This was the reason for me to move to Aachen where, at RWTH, I completed my Master's degree in Nanoelectronics and worked in the Lab of Hendrik Bluhm on spin qubits. During an international conference I learned about ISTA and the efforts in the Katsaros group towards the implementation of hole spins, rather than electrons, in germanium as qubits. I joined the Katsaros Lab first as an intern in January 2017 and then became a PhD student in September 2017. I completed my PhD in August 2021 after implementing the first singlet-triplet qubit in a hole spin system. After a year of PostDoc at ISTA I joined the Vandersypen Lab at TU Delft to work on analog quantum simulations in September 2022.
