The Rye Street Group is a vehicle repair service with seven locations. Providing support to the Group Accountant, which involves travelling to different sites to process payroll and general accounts duties within Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll. Other duties include: petty cash, bank reconciliation, purchase and sales ledger.

SME providing painting, decorating and maintenance services to local Housing Authorities, Schools, and local businesses. Employing approximately 30 staff, with an annual turnover of approx 2m. • Experienced in all aspects of HR/Office Management, including leading a change process to close the business. This involved managing and overseeing the closure process with the Directors. Duties included planning and managing staffing levels, redundancy process, finalising the company accounts. • Generalist HR responsibilities included recruitment, contracts of employment, inductions, performance management, disciplinary and grievance procedures, absence management and redundancy. • Business planning with the Directors to recruit the right skill set of employees required for each contract. • Processing of the company payroll and accounts, including purchase/sales ledger, VAT reporting and the set up on new pension schemes. • Providing learning and development for all staff, ensuring they meet all statutory/legal requirements for each contract. • Implementing new Health & Safety procedures including using an online system to produce COSHH assessments

A worldwide Medical Imaging Company employing 200 staff within the UK. Carestream Health acquired Kodak Imaging in May 2007. (My service from Kodak Ltd transferred to Carestream Heath). • Assisting the HR Manager with the transfer of company from Kodak Imaging Ltd to Carestream Health Ltd. This involved change management, assisting the HR Manager through the transition from the closure to the new company. • Setting up new processes such as new pension schemes, payroll providers, fleet management and learning new systems such as SAP (Systems Applications Products). • Writing of new policy and procedures to accommodate the changes to employee benefit • Liaising with the Worldwide HR to streamline the company, which included redundancy management
