● Executed weekly payroll for approximately ninety employees. Duties included collecting and organizing W-4 and I-9 forms, entering weekly employee hours into the ADP RUN computer system, and advising the the store’s general manager on the necessary adjustments to maintain a weekly payroll at 15% of the store’s total business.● Handled daily cash deposits and dealt directly with the store’s merchant processing representative to ensure proper credit card fees and percentage deductions. ● Extended dozens of weekly vendor bills, categorizing and recording them for monthly inventory within a custom made Excel spreadsheet. Bills were entered into Quickbooks for proper record keeping and paid in a weekly cycle.● Balanced the company’s checkbook, adjusting all necessary debits and credits to determine a running daily balance. Weekly reports from the business’s prior years were then examined to develop an estimated black figure for the end of the weekly billing cycle and maintain a satisfactory cash flow. ● Responsible for all office tasks, including direct contact with vendors for billing and invoicing questions, statement reviews, email management, and supply ordering. ● Calculated weekly gross profit percents for all five store departments in a Profit and Loss spreadsheet. This data was vital for constructing an accurate monthly inventory that reported the business’s total gross profit. Shrinkage reports were collected weekly from department managers to ensure accuracy.
