Post acquisition of Hubbell Lighting, was promoted to lead the combined Indoor LED fixture P&L ($300M+) with matrixed sales and manufacturing responsibility. Led a team of product managers, marketing professionals, and design engineers across 4 countries to deliver a portfolio of 150+ configurable product families across 16 market segments that provided a multi-tiered value and service offering. Majority of portfolio was manufactured/assembled in two Current Lighting owned manufacturing locations in Mexico while other products were contract manufactured in Asia. Together, the team drove business strategy, brand management, marketing activities, product roadmaps, pricing strategies, forecasting, and inventory actions with cross functional collaboration.

Commercial and industrial portion of GE Lighting was acquired by American Industrial Partners (Private Equity) in April of 2018 and the company name was changed to GE current, a Daintree Company. My responsibility remained the same as the GM of Product Management role at GE Lighting.In Feb of 2022, GE current, a Daintree Company acquired Hubbell Lighting from Hubbell Corporation and renamed the combined company to Current Lighting.

Appointed by CEO to create a product business within a new market application for GE Lighting: Indoor fixtures. Started by making targeted product investments to secure energy efficiency retrofit programs across retail national accounts. This served as a revenue and technical base from which multi-generational product development plans were executed to build out the portfolio to serve the broader channel and construction projects. Grew product revenue to $125M while maintaining an above average margin rate through price management and cost out programs. Managed the investment budget and directed an international team of product managers and design engineers. Highbay brand (Albeo) and product portfolio became recognized leader in the application space.

The 200 person organization pursued LED, lamp and lighting fixture growth within the Electrical Distribution, Specialty Distribution, Utility/DOT channels and directly through Strategic Accts. Go-to-market included utilization of rep agencies and a direct sales force. Together, our team built customer relationships at all levels within elements of the market value chain: sales agents, electrical distributors, contractors, end users, and specifiers.
