Rio Tinto Iron Ore IOp’s - Controller/Supervisor 2IC Key Responsibilities: Controller• Manage ship loading and train dumping operations, noting dates, times, tonnages and other relevant details when required. • Update computerised shift logs and AMPLA delays as relevant. • Respond to Site radio communications to Port Controllers advising of equipment availability and instruct as appropriate. • Monitor control systems software and CCTV systems and liaise with Site operations, Dynamic Scheduling, Rail operations and Marine reporting information as required.• Relay to appropriate stakeholders on site, faults and information concerning machinery and equipment as necessary.• During emergency incidents, act as the initial Emergency Controller and call out essential personnel and Emergency Services, maintaining an incident log.
