An experienced engineering geologist working across geotechnical design and construction, including highways, bridges, dams, earthworks, retaining walls, piled structures, railways, tunnelling, and slope stabilisation. I have specialised in the compilation of geological models using available data and implementing value add targeted investigations. Much of my work has focused on major projects, including more recently Snowy 2.0 and the ArcelorMittal Tokadeh iron ore project. Previous projects included road and bridge projects (mostly NSW Pacific Highway Upgrades) and tunnels (Epping to Chatswood rail line, Lane Cove Tunnel, Eastern Distributer etc.). I have also had construction roles on major projects including spending a lot of time on site for the construction of the Goro Nickel plant, on the Sakhalin II onshore oil and gas pipeline construction on Sakhalin Island (East Russia) and for hydrocarbon plant sites and pipelines in Papua New Guinea. I hold competencies in industrial rope access and use these techniques to assist with geological mapping and slope risk assessments in difficult terrain.
