About Daniel Jones, E.I.T.
I graduated in 2020 with a degree in mechanical and structural engineering, and launched into a world that was anything but stable. I took a position with my mentor/professor from my undergrad doing oil and gas consulting in Austin TX, while also getting accepted to pursue my MBA at Harvard Business School, I ended up scrapping the business school route to get involved in entrepreneurship hands-on. This led me to Dallas/Fort Worth where I took a position at Gartner, which started my journey in business development and technology, I quickly noticed how many times I was speaking to my clients about their cybersecurity concerns, which led me to move into that industry. That led me to Fortinet, where I sold secure networking and SecOps software into select accounts in the healthcare/banking/legal/manufacturing spaces. I now serve as a Corporate Account Executive in Emerging Enterprises in the Jersey/Penn region at Tanium, focusing on providing environment visibility and secure vulnerability remediation for customers in the emerging enterprise space.Outside of work, I'm passionate about networking, entrepreneurship, personal development and public speaking.
