I have 12 years experience in open pit mining, in areas such as Production Mining Leadership, Dewatering Leadership, Drill & Blast Coordinating /Superintendent roles and Project Management. I have a positive nature and a ton of knowledge that I have strived to build throughout my career. I show a willingness to learn and respectively listen to constructive feedback when due to allow myself growth within the mining industry. I have completed a Diploma in Surface Operations Management & have achieved my unrestricted Quarry Managers certificate. I pride myself on my exceptional communication skills and find I am able to build professional trusting relationships with my staff. I feel this relationship of integrity with fellow staff members improve workplace culture and overall positive production output. Effective communication skills leads to smooth and sound teamwork between sister companies.I have learnt throughout my career that mining procedures are continuously evolving and have worked along side upper management in updating and implementing new policies that align with site processes and standards. Thus allowing for continuous improvements for better efficiency and productivity as well as personnel safety.Overall I am passionate about having a safe, efficient, and dedicated team that feels comfortable to approach me as a leader with any concerns and providing that trusting culture.
