RETIREDDuties include but were not limited to:Operate CAD software to create, update, and maintain technical, electronic drawings and maps of transportation infrastructure, and facilities. Create a variety of engineering drawings using specifications provided by engineers and other available data. Prepare detailed drawings for the construction and/or alteration of city infrastructure including evaluating and interpreting survey grading and drainage data. Prepare cross-sections, profiles, visual displays, maps, and charts. Obtain record information from a variety of agencies and utilities. Research files, drawings, maps of facilities, and other related information. Check assessor’s maps, survey maps, and parcel information for various data. Gather measurements and field notes, and verify incomplete data in order to complete drawings. Update originally recorded engineering drawings, maps, profiles, and plans with new as-built data and edits existing drawings to reflect as-built conditions.Support engineering staff with research, field inspections, analysis and verification of legal description, and other support duties.Import and export data to and from GIS records.Organize and archive drawings and updates and maintain database records and files.Create custom maps and graphics.
