The Project -Elaboration of Rwamagana District Land-use Master-plan, supervised and contracted by Rwanda Housing Authority and Funded by ENABEL (Belgium) under the Urban Economic Development Intervention project, seeks to address the challenges associated with rapid urbanization and correlated it with economic growth,With a target of 70% urban population and 30% living in attractive, vibrant rural settlements, GOR seeks to develop ambitious visionary framework and tools that combine, governance, vision and strategies that ensures basic services reach every citizen in the Area

The project involved development and updating of Rwamagana Urban Center Master plan in line with approved National land use and Development Master Plan (NLUDMP) and NST 1.

The project dealt with feasibility study review, detailed designs and supervision works for the construction of Kgaga water supply system, under-WATER AND SANITATION SERVICES IMPROVEMENT PROJECT. My main roles included detailed mapping of the entire route totalling 290km-Main pipe line Secondary Line and Tertiary Line. GIS identification of affected property under in RAP and assisting in Valuation boundaries. It also involved detailed survey of 3 catchment dams on River Bakokwe, Kagaga River and Makera. It also involved detailed topographic survey of Water Treatment area. I also calculated the volume of the area based on 25m rise from the lowest altitude. Further all these data were prepared and submitted in AutoCAD and GIS Esri shapefiles. Futher We also calculated the profiles along the route. We further developed route lines for ease of development of flow model. Also along the route there were a number of Tanks, Three Main Reservoirs, 20 Distribution Reservoirs and 30 Pressure Break Tanks of varying capacities.
