Mr. Kusic founded TaxServ in 1993 with the goal of providing specialized servicing, collection and reporting services solely for government receivables. He has been Managing Director continuously since that time. He has over 45 years of (a) managing and monetizing subperforming and nonperforming realestate assets and other receivables; and (b) administering commercial transactions to successful conslusions. He has attracted and retained a highly talented team of professionals who have developed and implemented analytical financial models, systems, and procedures to manage and collect portfolios of receivables. Mr. Kusic was a practicing real estate attorney for over 20 years, and was Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Real Estate Recovery, Inc., a bank liquidation industry leader. In this experience, he established operating procedures, policies and contract compliance guidelines consistent with RTC, FDIC and other federal governmental agencies’ requirements for RER’s operations on a national basis. Prior to joining RER, Mr. Kusic served as General Counsel of Sequoia Building Corporation, a Metropolitan Washington, DC commercial real estate developer and residential builder with a real estate investment portfolio of $450 million. Mr. Kusic received a BS in Finance from West Virginia University in 1969 and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Miami in 1972.
